Does This Sound Familiar?
Your Jaw Should Not Run Your Life
TMJ problems can make normal life feel smaller — eating carefully, avoiding certain foods, waking up with headaches, worrying your jaw will lock, or pushing through pain during the day.
The goal of care is not simply to quiet symptoms for a few weeks. The goal is to help you return to comfortable function with less pain, less fear of flare-ups, and more confidence in daily life.
Get back to normal function, not just temporary symptom control.
Experience Matters. So Does the Method.
TMJ is not a standalone dental specialty, and there is no official credential called a “TMJ specialist.” What patients usually want is a clinician who has meaningful experience evaluating jaw pain, clicking, locking, headaches, clenching, and bite-related symptoms.
At Anagen Medical Institute, experience is paired with a regenerative approach to care. We look for the source of overload, inflammation, and dysfunction, then recommend non-surgical and biologically guided treatment options when appropriate.
Instead of simply masking symptoms, Anagen focuses on understanding the source of dysfunction and using non-surgical, biologically guided treatment options when appropriate — including regenerative therapies that may support true healing and more lasting relief by helping the body repair irritated or injured tissues.
The goal is to support better function, better comfort, and a more durable path back to daily life.

A focused evaluation helps determine whether your pain is joint-related, muscle-related, bite-related, habit-related, or a combination.
Comprehensive Evaluation
We look beyond the sore spot to understand the joint, muscles, bite, habits, and daily triggers contributing to your symptoms.
Regenerative TMJ Therapy
For appropriate cases, regenerative therapy may help support natural healing in irritated joint tissues and improve the environment for comfortable function.
Oral Appliance / Orthotic Therapy
A custom appliance may help reduce overload, protect teeth, and support a more comfortable jaw position.
Muscle and Trigger Point Support
Targeted therapy may help reduce painful muscle tension that refers pain into the jaw, temples, head, neck, and face.
Habit and Function Coaching
Many patients clench during the day without realizing it. Habit modification can help reduce repeated overload and support better jaw rest posture.
Conservative Care First
Our goal is to help patients avoid unnecessary surgery, chronic medication, and care that only masks symptoms whenever a conservative path is appropriate.
Why Patients Choose Anagen for TMJ/TMD Care
Patients often come to Anagen after being told to manage symptoms, wear a basic nightguard, take medication, or wait until the problem gets worse. Our approach is different: we evaluate the source of the problem and recommend care designed to improve comfort and function.
